高台などの造りから、おそらく江戸初期頃のものと思います。

本品は実際にまな板として相当の年月使い込まれたもので、良く枯れ、丸くなった木肌の素晴らしいマチエールです。

煎茶家出の四方古鉄瓶です。透し摘み銅蓋は、時代をへた素晴らしい錆蓋です。持ち手には銀象嵌が少し残っています。

輪環の把手装飾、クルクルと回る摘み、薄造りで、鮮やかな色絵が入っています。
