To reemphasise the details of the feathers and give the pair a more life like appearance, the Pheasants are hand chased from beak to tail tip. Chasing, one of the oldest surviving silversmithing skills still practised today, is when the silversmith moves the silver to create a 3 dimensional design using special tools. The half
