The sewing machine is marked "Made In Germany, British Zone," indicating a manufacture during the occupation of Germany by allied forces following the war, from 1945 to 1949. The sewing machine is also marked Gesch. M 1470. It cranks as it should, but has not been fully tested. It is being sold as a collector's item. All
